Eve knew who she was from a very early age...A crafter.

Cutting, sticking, painting, drawing, baking - a creative through and through. This love eventually led me to a Textiles degree where I laser focused my passion and graduated with an Arts and Crafts degree, specialising in Tapestry weaving (yes, that is a real degree - I know!)

But post diploma, mid-covid, creative burnout hit hard. So did the reality of a 9-5 job. Crafting took a back seat, but not for long. That quiet urge to create, to do something with my hands never really went away.

One day, I picked up a crochet hook. I never looked back.

What I did notice, though, was that a lot of the patterns felt outdated, or over-complicated - made for people who had been doing it since before I was even born circa 1996. Talking to other creatives, I knew I wasn't the only one feeling this way.

There's a real desire to slow down. To put our phones away. To create something that felt GOOD.

So, the Hook Club was born.

It's for beginners, boffins and basically anyone who's ever looked at a crochet hook and gone "how on earth do you make a jumper with that thing?"

Every box and every project is designed to be simple, enjoyable and actually do-able so you can sit down, switch off and make something you can't wait to show off even if you've never picked up a crochet hook before.

Thanks, I made it.
